Our Curriculum
For children in K through 6th grade, we’ve developed a curriculum to teach students the principles of the Big-Headed Beaver™. The curriculum includes the following topics:
Belief : Your child will be encouraged to create a vision for the future, empowered to believe it can be achieved, and given the tools needed to accomplish that vision.
Environment : Your child will be taught how to respect nature and the environment and how to protect it.
Appearance : Your child will be taught the importance of having an appropriate appearance, not only for themselves (building self-confidence), but also how their appearance impacts their relationship with others.
Values : Your child will be taught the value of hard work, volunteering, academic achievement, and the importance of the family structure.
Economics : Your child will be introduced to budgeting, saving, developing a banking relationship, the importance of credit, and the difference between appreciation and depreciation, and assets and liabilities.
Respect : Your child will be taught the importance of respecting authority, their elders, parents, being obedient, and respecting themselves and being tolerant and accepting of others.
The Big-Headed Beaver © Curriculum is enhanced through a character-building series which include additional animal characters – each with a designated purpose to reinforce each of the previously mentioned principles.
